The  Global Payroll Manager role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our global payroll processes across multiple regions, as well as leading our payroll transformation projects over the next two years. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll providers, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and collaborating effectively with finance and other internal teams. This role will also be responsible for leading key projects to review payroll vendors and harmonize our global payroll processes with other Operating Companies within Danaher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Global Payroll Operations: Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees across the US, UK, EMEA, China, Singapore, Japan and Australia.

  • Payroll Vendor Management: Liaise with internal and external providers as necessary, acting as a key contact with payroll and benefit providers and governmental authorities

  • Audit & Tax Compliance: Lead and oversee all payroll related audit and year end processes, and ensure correct tax filing with relevant authorities in each region, staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.

  • Statutory Reporting: Prepare and submit statutory reports in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with finance and other internal teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data with financial systems and processes.

  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies promptly and efficiently.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance payroll operations.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or professional certification in payroll management (e.g., CPP, CIPP).

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in global payroll management, preferably within a multinational organization.

  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements across multiple regions.

  • Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, or similar platforms.

  • Ability to perform deep, thorough analysis of complex data using MS tools.  Experience presenting complex data to stakeholders
