We're looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our Christchurch Team!

The Curtiss-Wright HR team in Christchurch operate as a Shared Service, supporting around 598 employees, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, organised and professional Payroll Administrator to join the team at our state-of-the-art facility by Bournemouth Airport.

Your Challenge:

  • Assisting with the processing of the monthly UK payroll including the day-to-day handling of queries and communications with the Finance & HR teams.

  • The role will require working with Workday HR & payroll software.

  • Assisting with the processing of benefits through the payroll including Auto enrolment pension

  • Assisting with report requests from the business

  • Conducting ad-hoc tasks as required by your manager.

  • Ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time.

  • Maintaining Payroll records

  • Assisting with Payroll Audits. Internally and externally.

  • Minimum 2 years payroll experience.

  • Helping with the Payroll helpdesk queries/tickets.

  • Strong communicator

  • Ability to deliver a high-quality service & commitment to continuous improvement

  • Team player

  • Up to date knowledge of SSP, SMP etc rates

  • Knowledge of NMW rates of pay

  • Able to manually calculate pay, including NI, Tax, and pension deductions

  • Deal with court orders

  • Option to study CIPP qualification

  • Confidentiality is a must

  • Must have GCSE Math and English

  • Willing to travel within the UK, must hold a valid UK drivers license
