Payroll Administrator
Location: Stoke-on-Trent (ST3)
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour dependent upon experience
Working Hours: Day shift
Hunters 4 Staff are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join a well-established business in Stoke-on-Trent (ST3). This is a great opportunity for someone with payroll experience who's looking for a steady, day-shift role in a supportive environment. You'll be hands-on with payroll processes and play a key part in keeping everything accurate and running smoothly.
What you'll be doing:
- Processing weekly and/or monthly payroll for employees
- Checking timesheets and inputting hours accurately
- Handling payroll queries from staff in a clear and professional manner
- Maintaining employee records and ensuring data is up to date
- Supporting with compliance, including HMRC submissions and statutory payments
- Assisting with general admin duties within the payroll/finance team
- Previous experience in a payroll position
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using payroll systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Strong organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines
- A friendly, team-focused approach
