Payroll and Finance Coordinator
Salary: £30,000-£35,000

An immediate opportunity for an experienced Payroll and Finance Coordinator to join a welcoming school team on a fixed-term basis.
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Payroll and Finance Coordinator to support the finance department in a busy and rewarding school environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong payroll experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work confidently across finance functions.
What We’re Looking For
- AAT Level 4 (or equivalent) qualification
- Proven experience in payroll (essential)
- Previous finance experience within a school setting (highly desirable)
- Strong knowledge of Excel, with the ability to use advanced functions confidently
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities
The Payroll and Finance Coordinator will:
- Prepare and process the monthly payroll accurately and on time
- Manage the Sales (Parent) Ledger, ensuring records are kept up to date
- Update cashbooks and maintain accurate financial information
- Complete bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy across accounts
- Oversee and deliver the month-end process efficiently
