Payroll Assistant
Location: Sutton Coldfield
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent, 38.75 hours per week
Salary: £26,650

We’re looking for a Payroll Assistant to support the Payroll Manager and our outsourced payroll provider with the day‑to‑day processing of payroll, reconciliations, and employee queries. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys detailed, process‑driven work and wants to grow their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
The Role
As a Payroll Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our payroll runs smoothly, accurately, and on time. You’ll be the first point of contact for payroll queries, support statutory and pension processes, and help maintain strong internal controls through checks, audits, and reconciliations.
You’ll work closely with the Payroll Manager, HR colleagues, and operational teams to ensure employees receive the right information and support.
