Team Overview:
The Accounts department is responsible for managing the financial health and integrity of the business. This team handles everything from accounts payable and receivable to payroll, budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance. By ensuring accurate and timely financial processing, the Accounts department provides essential support to all areas of the business, enabling informed decision-making and maintaining strong financial control. Their work is critical to sustaining growth, profitability, and operational efficiency across the company.

Role Overview:
The payroll specialist will oversee the organisation's payroll functions in Ireland and in some European countries, ensuring that all aspects of payroll processing are carried out efficiently and accurately. The role involves managing payroll preparation for monthly, biweekly and weekly and resolving any payroll issues. We work with payroll companies in our oversea ventures.

Hours | Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3pm
Salary | Competitive Depending on Experience
Responsible to | Head of Accounts

What You'll be Doing


Oversee and manage the full payroll function to ensure timely and accurate processing of salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions while maintaining compliance with company policies, government regulations, and wage and hour laws. Ensure adherence to legal and corporate governance requirements within the finance industry, support audits by providing necessary documentation, and conduct regular payroll reconciliations and reporting to maintain accurate financial records. Additionally, identify and recommend improvements to payroll systems and procedures, prepare ad hoc financial and operational reports, and resolve complex payroll-related employee issues.
