Payroll Analyst Jobs

Job Description

As a small agency you might find yourself assuming that we only work with small(er) clients.

Well, as the saying goes, when you assume you make an ass out of u and me. Clever that. Although it does required you to put on a faux American accent…unless you’re American.

Anyway, the truth is, we work with organisations of all shapes and sizes and rather than turnover, headcount or pipeline factoring in to our decision making process we focus on one simple rule.

Don’t work with dickheads.

We’re currently supporting a BIG organisation who have decided to embark upon a payroll transformation programme and they’re looking for a Payroll Systems specialist to join them on a permanent basis.

You’ll get the opportunity to play a critical role in the success of a systems overhaul aaaaaand you’ll be reporting into an awesome manager. Definitely NOT a dick head. We should know. We placed them.

As part of the HR shared services team you’ll be involved in leading improvement projects to systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

When it comes to ways of working there’s plenty of flexibility to work remotely on offer with just one day per week in a Buckinghamshire based office and the odd bit of travel for workshops as and when required.

If you’ve liked what you’ve read so far and are thinking of applying it’s worth knowing that as well as payroll process experience you will definitely need to have worked on implementations and the ongoing support of payroll/ HR systems.

Systems wise, Oracle HCM experience is a must but you’ll get extra credit if you’ve worked on absence or time and attendance rollouts too.

The interview process is just 2 stages (1 teams screening call and 1 face to face) and my client aren’t one to drag their heels if they find the right person.

There’s a base salary of £38-45,000 on offer plus bonus and a broad range of benefits.
