The Cornwall Pension Fund is administered by Cornwall Council and plays a vital role in supporting the financial futures of thousands of individuals across the county. Based in the heart of Truro at Pydar House, our dedicated team of over 40 professionals works collaboratively to manage and deliver the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) for Cornwall.

The Role:
As a Payroll Administrator at the Cornwall Pension Fund, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services to approximately 20,000 pensioners. Your responsibilities will include setting up new pensioners on the payroll system, calculating overpayments and underpayments following a pensioner’s death, and providing support to pensioners using our online services. You will also respond to a wide range of enquiries, ensuring a high standard of customer service and support at all times.
This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies.
Working Pattern:
You will be required to work from Pydar House, Truro, at least two days per week (pro rata), and to participate in a phone rota between 8:30am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
