Our mission is simple: End Cyber Risk. We’re looking for a Senior Benefits Specialist to be part of making this happen.   

Reporting to the Director, Benefits, the Senior Benefits Specialist will serve as a resource for employees and HR personnel for all benefit programs; day to day administration of benefit plans and programs and liaison with vendors for problems resolutions and responsible for data management and file transmissions.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Administers daily benefit enrollments, life event changes, benefit adjustment
  • requests and life insurance claims in a timely manner
  • Maintains employee benefit files and updates employee records for benefits
  • Handles benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure equitable, quick, and courteous resolution when needed, escalating as needed and appropriate
  • Supports the leave of absence (LOA) process
  • Supports benefits team best practices, including maintaining proper documentation of programs, practices, and processes
  • Participates in benefits market research, program design, and vendor selection Processes
  • Responds to questions from LOA/disability vendor, internal partners, and Employees
  • Assists with compliance and communications
  • Helps facilitate new hire benefit orientation and provides information to employees
  • Assist in the creation of processes and procedures
  • This position is expected to maintain and promote excellent customer service while handling administrative benefit duties including data entry, working with
  • employees regarding their benefits and assisting with processes and procedures in accordance with defined criteria

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex information accurately and concisely.
  • Ability to assimilate and increase knowledge of concepts across a broad range of benefit and health and wellness areas.
  • Ability to work independently, and establish appropriate work priorities to meet competing deadlines
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues and resolve user problems as they relate to benefits in the HRIS as well as other external systems

  • Compassion & Empathy: must be able to communicate empathetically with employees to gain a better understanding on their concerns and demonstrate a manner that is willing to help within the limitations of our plans and policies.
  • Problem solving: must be eager to learn and deepen subject matter expertise.
  • Understand employee and benefit issues and ask questions about possible solutions.
  • Communication: ability to communicate clearly with employees, working with more senior team members on complex topics.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of country specific benefits and leave of absence/disability for the countries assigned to the employee to support.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced fluid environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 4+ years experience in benefits.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of country specific benefits and leave of absence/disability for the countries assigned to the employee to support.
  • Strong computer skills, Workday experience a plus!

Working knowledge of FMLA, ERISA, HIPPA, COBRA and ACA (for the countries assigned to the employee to support)
