About Korn Ferry Consulting

Our Consulting Line of Business spans 29 countries across EMEA, working across six major markets within our four main solution areas: Organizational Strategy, Total Reward, Leadership & Development, and Assessment & Succession.

Within Consulting, Total Reward supports clients to design fair, competitive, and sustainable reward strategies that attract, motivate, and retain talent. Our work spans reward strategy, job evaluation, market pricing, and reward structure design, often integrated with broader organisational and talent initiatives.

These roles are primarily private-sector focused.

Role Overview

The Senior Consultant – Total Reward plays a key role in the delivery of reward and job evaluation engagements for private-sector clients. You will work as part of project teams to analyse reward practices, design reward structures, and support clients in implementing effective and defensible reward solutions.

This role is suited to consultants who combine strong analytical capability with practical client delivery skills, and who are comfortable working with data, frameworks, and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Total Reward Delivery

  • Deliver reward and job evaluation workstreams within broader client engagements.
  • Support the design of reward strategies, grading structures, and pay frameworks.
  • Conduct job evaluation and benchmarking activities using Korn Ferry methodologies.
  • Analyse market data to inform reward recommendations.

Client Engagement

  • Work directly with client stakeholders to gather information and validate outputs.
  • Support client workshops and working sessions focused on reward and pay design.
  • Explain reward concepts and analyses in a clear, practical manner.
  • Build trusted client relationships through high-quality delivery.

Analysis & Insight

  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative data relating to pay, jobs, and market positioning.
  • Develop clear, well-structured client materials, including presentations and models.
  • Apply Korn Ferry intellectual property consistently and rigorously.

Team Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary Korn Ferry teams.
  • Coordinate with colleagues across W&CA, OD, and Talent solutions where required.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive team environment.

Quality & Development

  • Ensure reward deliverables meet Korn Ferry quality standards.
  • Continuously build technical reward capability through learning and application.
  • Seek and respond to feedback to support ongoing professional development.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong Total Reward expertise – Experience across reward, job evaluation, or pay structures.
  • Analytical mindset – Comfortable working with complex reward and market data.
  • Attention to detail – Able to maintain rigour and consistency across analyses.
  • Client-centric approach – Focused on delivering practical, defensible solutions.
  • Clear communication – Able to explain technical reward concepts effectively.
  • Resilience and adaptability – Comfortable working in evolving client environments.
  • Technology literate – Fluent in Microsoft Office and comfortable using AI-enabled tools (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT).

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience delivering reward, job evaluation, or compensation-related projects.
  • Background in consulting, reward advisory, or internal reward roles.
  • Exposure to job evaluation and market pricing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
