As People Operations Advisor, you will be responsible for managing payroll
and benefits administration, supporting annual compensation reviews, and
maintaining salary banding frameworks. Collaborating closely with internal
stakeholders and third-party providers, you will ensure processes are
accurate, compliant, and aligned with People team objectives.
Payroll Administration
- Process EMEA & APAC payrolls accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and organisational policies
- Collaborate with third-party payroll providers, managing relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Verify and reconcile payroll data, including timesheets, allowances, deductions, and statutory payments
- Process all monthly payroll updates with Workday to ensure accuracy of employee data and reporting between Workday and payroll vendor systems
- Manage payroll changes such as new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments
- Prepare and review payroll reports, ensuring data accuracy for internal and external audits
- Prepare and circulate reports to Finance and other key payroll stakeholders to ensure payroll accuracy and timely approvals of all payroll files
- Act as the main point of contact for international payroll-related queries, resolving employee concerns promptly.
Benefits Administration
- Manage the administration of employee benefits, including pensions, healthcare plans, and other reward schemes
- Support the annual renewal process for benefits, liaising with providers to secure the best terms
- Oversee enrolment, changes, and terminations in benefits programs, ensuring compliance with provider terms and legal requirements
- Process Workday benefit elections within Workday and ensure benefits data is correct within the system and updated post benefit renewals
- Provide guidance to employees on benefit offerings, eligibility, and enrolment processes
- Track and report on benefits utilisation, providing insights to improve program effectiveness
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with payroll and benefits regulations, including local tax and social security compliance, pensions auto-enrolment, and GDPR
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely payroll and benefits data in a secure fashion
- Stay up to date with legislative changes and ensure processes remain compliant
- Own reporting for the geographies that you handle for payroll and benefitßs
Compensation Support
- Assist in the annual compensation review process, including data preparation, benchmarking, and reporting
- Support the maintenance and regular review of salary banding frameworks, ensuring alignment with market benchmarks
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline payroll and benefits processes, enhancing efficiency and employee satisfaction
- Collaborate with the Workday team to optimise payroll and benefits workflows and reporting capabilities
- Maintain and update process documentation to ensure clarity and consistency
Employee Support
- Provide responsive and professional support to employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries
- Deliver training sessions and communications to help employees understand and make the most of their benefits
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring seamless transitions for payroll and benefits
Workday
- Support Workday team with testing as needed
- Support larger People Team with the integration of acquired entities into the Company’s, systems, and processes; including payroll transitions and benefit harmonisation
