LinkedIn has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious EMEAL Senior Payroll Analyst to join our Dublin-based team on an 11-month fixed-term contract. 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and analytical payroll professional to support payroll operations across the EMEAL region. This role plays a critical part in delivering an exceptional employee experience by ensuring all employees are paid accurately, on time, and in full compliance with local statutory requirements. 

Responsibilities: 

Payroll Execution & Task Management 

  • Manages end-to-end payroll processing for complex scenarios, ensuring timely and accurate execution. 

  • Reconciles payroll data, identifies discrepancies, and recommends corrective actions. 

  • Analyzes payroll reports to uncover trends and compliance concerns. 

  • Partners with GTO, Finance, and vendors to support system upgrades and improve payroll processes. 

Compliance & Governance 

  • Ensures adherence to multi-state and international payroll regulations, including tax withholdings, benefits, and statutory requirements. 

  • Participates in audits by supporting in preparation of reports for compliance, audit, reviewing payroll data, identifying risks, and supporting remediation efforts. 

  • Helps define internal controls to maintain compliance and reduce errors. 

Strategic Thinking 

  • Supports strategy development by identifying process improvement opportunities and aligning payroll operations with broader business goals. 

  • Translates strategic objectives into actionable plans, with limited oversight. 

  • Builds relationships across teams to gain insight into cross-functional needs and constraints. 

  • Project support for payroll-related projects, including system implementations, country transitions, and regulatory changes. 

Stakeholder Influence: Partnership and Collaboration 

  • Maintains a good working relationships with GTO, Finance, and vendors to ensure seamless payroll processing and compliance. 

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies, providing guidance and support as needed. 

Technology Adoption & Process Innovation 

  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to learning and applying new payroll technologies and best practices, leveraging available resources (e.g., LinkedIn Learning) to stay current in the field. 

  • Participates in testing and implementation of system updates, and suggests process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 

  • 7 + years of experience in international or high-volume payroll operations OR Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field AND 2 + years of experience in international or high-volume payroll operations. 

  • 2+ years of experience with payroll platforms (e.g., ADP Global View, ADP Streamline, Workday & EY). 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience managing complex payroll operations (Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Germany, France, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Sweden, UK). 

  • 3+ years of experience with Human Capital Management tools (e.g., Workday). 

  • 1+ year of experience supporting process improvement. 

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification.
