Tikehau Capital is looking for a Global Head of Payroll and Operations who will be responsible for overseeing payroll management, personnel administration, and compensation processes across 17 countries.


Responsibilities

Global Payroll Management:

  • Oversee the collection, processing, and transmission of variable payroll elements across all countries;
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in pay slip control and post-payroll processing, in collaboration with accounting teams;
  • Prepare year-end declarations and coordinate responses to auditors
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure adherence to local payroll regulations and deadlines;
  • Optimize payroll processes for security, efficiency, and cost reduction in each country;
  • Manage relationships with local payroll service providers;
  • Monitor payroll budgets and prepare comprehensive payroll-related reports;
  • Handle group-level tax matters related to payroll.


Operations & Personnel Administration:

  • Prepare employment contracts, amendments, and certificates for all employees;
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for personnel administration within the HR team;
  • Design and implement onboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience;
  • Continuously optimize personnel administration processes and tools in each country;
  • Maintain and update the HRIS, ensuring high data quality and integrity;
  • Ensure compliance with and monitor employment legislation in all jurisdictions.


Compensation Management:

  • Management of free share plans, including:
  • Liaising with account managers, legal, and accounting teams;
  • Maintaining and updating tracking tables for all compensation plans;
  • Managing relationships with external tax advisors;
  • Managing sell-to-cover transactions in collaboration with tax firms, payroll providers, and legal/finance teams.


Team Leadership:

  • Lead and develop a team of 5 FTEs, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.




Profile

  • 10+ years of proven experience in global payroll management and HR operations, ideally within a global environment
  • Strong knowledge of international payroll regulations, tax matters, and HR compliance
  • Expertise required in financial instruments declarations (Stock options, RSUs...)
  • Experience with HRIS systems and process optimization
  • Fluent English - French speaking language would be a plus
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage complex projects and drive operational efficiency.
