About the role RSM have an exciting opportunity for a payroll specialist to join our Outsourcing team. Working within a growing area of the firm with domestic, FDI and Public Sector Clients. This position offers challenging, interesting, and rewarding work within a global network organisation. Responsibilities:- Managing a portfolio of payroll clients including, but not limited to the following areas:
- Preparation and review of monthly payroll files and statutory financial statements
- Assisting with payroll related queries from clients
- Assisting with the general management of multiple client payroll portfolios and provide ad-hoc assistance as required.
- Building and maintaining relationships with a portfolio of clients.
- Providing a high standard of client service, with predominately internationally active clients.
- Execution of client engagements and technical queries in an efficient and professional manner
- Opportunity to work with partners and directors on firmwide engagements.
- Coordinating and collaborating with other RSM member firms on cross-border projects and business development initiatives.
- Contributing to the operational management of the financial reporting team, including certain business development initiatives.
- Providing mentorship to junior staff, and work on attracting, developing, and retaining the best talents for the firm.
About the ideal candidateThe ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Irish payroll processing
- A payroll qualification from IPASS or equivalent
- A good working knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software (e.g., Sage, Thesaurus, BrightPay)
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
