Behind every payslip is a team, a system and a level of detail that really matters.
We’re looking for a Payroll Systems Analyst on a fixed term basis to help keep our payroll systems running smoothly, accurately and efficiently for colleagues across our Society.
This is an opportunity to bring together payroll knowledge, systems thinking and a careful eye for detail, working within our Payroll and Pensions team to support the processes that colleagues rely on every day.
Because payroll isn’t just about numbers.
It’s about trust.
The systems are already here. We need someone to make them work even better
Many people only see the end result of payroll.
The payment arriving on time. The information being right. The confidence that everything has been handled properly.
What sits behind that is careful analysis, accurate data, reliable systems and people who understand how important the detail is.
As Payroll Systems Analyst, you’ll help support and improve the iTrent payroll and rostering systems that enable payroll to be delivered accurately across a large and complex workforce.
Leading accuracy through systems and data
Of course, payroll knowledge is part of the role.
Your understanding of payroll processes will help you spot issues, support colleagues and make sure information is accurate and compliant.
But that’s only part of the picture.
You’ll also help maintain and develop our payroll and rostering systems, supporting testing, reporting, data integrity and system improvements that make a real difference to how the team works.
There will be opportunities to influence how payroll activity is planned, delivered and improved. One day, you could be testing a system update; the next, building a report, supporting a colleague with a complex query or helping the team prepare for a key payroll deadline.
