A well-organised and supportive secondary school in Nottinghamshire is seeking an efficient and discreet HR & Payroll Administrator to join its professional support team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of staffing processes and compliance across the school.

The Role

Working closely with senior leaders and the business team, you will support a wide range of HR and payroll administration duties. This is a confidential role requiring accuracy, professionalism and excellent organisational skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate staff records and contracts

  • Supporting payroll processes and liaising with external payroll providers

  • Managing absence records, starters and leavers

  • Ensuring compliance with safer recruitment and employment checks

  • Supporting HR reporting and documentation
